Evan McIntyre

Associate

Evan McIntyre represents clients in all facets of commercial litigation. Prior to joining Keker, Van Nest & Peters, Evan served as a law clerk for Judge Abdul Kallon of the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Alabama. Evan earned his J.D. from the University of Pennsylvania Law School and his B.S. in elementary education from the University of Alabama. 

While in law school, Evan interned with the American Civil Liberties Union of Pennsylvania, the Civil Rights Division of the U.S. Department of Justice, and the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania’s Federal Reentry Court. Evan also represented clients with the Defender Association of Philadelphia through Penn Law’s criminal defense clinic. Before law school, Evan taught English in South Korea as a Fulbright grantee and taught 4th grade in Charlotte, NC.

Clay Award Honors Landmark Settlements for Families Separated by Trump-Era Policy

In a landmark legal victory, three immigrant families have secured sizable settlements from the U.S. government for trauma suffered during family separations at the southern border in 2018.
