Michelle was profiled for her work securing a statewide injunction blocking the Trump administration's new Title X regulations. She and her team won a California-wide injunction blocking Trump's new family planning regulations under Title X of the Public Health Service Act designed to withhold federal funding from clinics that perform or refer for abortions and to forbid clinics from discussing abortion with pregnant women.

With more than $100 million at stake, she and her colleagues won a complete defense victory defeating claims from a certified class of some 700,000 plaintiffs who alleged Public Storage violated California's Unfair Competition Law. The suit claimed Public Storage led customers to believe they had to buy tenant insurance through Public Storage.
