The Bar Association of San Francisco Honors Quyen Ta

The Bar Association of San Francisco (BASF) has selected Quyen Ta as one of its 2012 Award of Merit recipients for her significant contributions to BASF as Co-Chair of the Equality Committee. In addition to that role, Ms. Ta also serves as a BASF board member and as a Minority Bar Coalition Representative. She also previously contributed to BASF’s new attorney division, the Barristers Club, as its Diversity Director, and board member.

In addition to BASF, she serves on the California State Bar Committee on Federal Courts, and holds numerous leadership positions in minority bar and non-profit organizations  such as the Asian Law Caucus, Vietnamese American Bar Association of Northern California and the National Asian Pacific American Bar Association.

As a Keker & Van Nest partner, Ms. Ta litigates intellectual property, securities, and other complex business disputes. She has tried numerous criminal and civil cases in state and federal courts, including five as first-chair. She has represented individual and institutional clients in various industries, including financial services, semiconductor, pharmaceutical, internet, and communications.
