Quyen Ta Elected Regional Governor of NAPABA for Northern California

Keker & Van Nest Partner Quyen Ta has been selected to serve as the Northern California Regional Governor for the National Asian Pacific American Bar Association (NAPABA). Starting this November, she will serve a two-year term on the NAPABA Board of Governors.

NAPABA is the national association of Asian Pacific American (APA) lawyers, judges, law professors and law students. It provides a national network for its direct and affiliate members. The organization advocates for the legal needs and interests of the APA community and represents the interests of over 40,000 lawyers and 62 local APA bar associations.

Ms. Ta focuses her practice on intellectual property, securities, and other complex business disputes. She has tried numerous criminal and civil cases in state and federal courts, including five as first-chair. In addition to NAPABA, Ms. Ta serves as a board member and active leader within numerous diversity organizations and committees, including the Bar Association of San Francisco's Equality Committee, the Asian Law Caucus, and the Vietnamese American Bar Association of Northern California.
