Peters emphasized the value of giving younger, less senior attorneys opportunities to participate visibly and meaningfully in trials. He believes that when jurors observe a range of team members—particularly those who mirror everyday workplace roles—they engage more favorably with the legal team. This dynamic can humanize the defense and build credibility.

“You really want a diverse team in terms of seniority and experience level, in terms of gender … juries come from all over the place," Peters asserted.

The firm often adopts a “team approach,” where most of the lawyers working on a case are present and participate in the courtroom. This visibility, according to Peters, provides the firm a tactical advantage that brings multiple perspectives to a case and reinforces the relatability of the trial team.
