IP, Technology, and Employees Behaving Badly


In the high-tech sector, employees frequently change jobs and take their employer’s IP with them.  Employers, in turn, seek every competitive advantage—whether by restraining their employees or gaining insight into their competitors.  Presentation will address civil and criminal issues that increasingly arise in a tech-connected world, including non-competes, trade secrets, and computer hacking and scraping. 

About Jennifer Huber
Ms. Huber handles civil and criminal litigation matters, such as enforcement matters brought by the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, white-collar criminal defense, legal malpractice, and intellectual property. Her clients have included executives of publicly-traded companies, large corporations, and San Francisco law firms. Ms. Huber has been an active member of multiple trial teams and has represented clients in both federal and state courts.
