JiLon represents clients in a broad range of complex commercial, white collar and criminal defense litigation. Prior to joining Keker, Van Nest & Peters, JiLon practiced as a litigation associate with an Am Law top 20 law firm in San Francisco and at a boutique white collar criminal defense firm in New York. JiLon has represented Fortune 500 corporations and individual executives in industries that span rideshare, academia, sports, online retail, pharmaceuticals, and banking on a wide variety of civil litigation matters and government and internal investigations. He has advised on cases concerning mass tort, complex business disputes involving fraudulent transfer and breach of contract, and government enforcement actions and investigations brought by the DOJ, SEC, FinCEN and state AGs offices including California, New York, and the District of Columbia on claims for consumer protection, employment discrimination, securities fraud, breach of fiduciary duty, and antitrust violations.

JiLon is also deeply committed to pro bono work, with experience in civil rights, reproductive rights, asylum, and criminal justice. He was Advocacy Chair for the Asian American Bar Association of New York’s Anti-Asian Violence Task Force and received a Bar Leaders Innovation Award by the New York State Bar Association for his work combatting anti-Asian hate.

JiLon served as a law clerk for Judge Lorna G. Schofield of the Southern District of New York. He earned his J.D. from the University of Pennsylvania Law School. JiLon also graduated from the University of Pennsylvania’s Roy and Diana Vagelos Program in Life Sciences and Management where he received a B.S. in Economics from The Wharton School and a B.A. in Neuroscience. Before law school, JiLon worked in finance and consulting, including as a project management consultant for a healthcare company.
