Catherina Xu represents clients in all facets of commercial litigation. Prior to joining Keker, Van Nest & Peters, she served as a judicial law clerk to Judge Rita F. Lin of the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California.
Catherina earned her J.D. from Stanford Law School with pro bono distinction and holds a B.S. and M.S. in Computer Science from Stanford University. During law school, she served as Executive Editor of the Stanford Law Review, participated in the Stanford Supreme Court Litigation Clinic, and served as President of the Asian and Pacific Islander Law Students Association (APILSA).
Before law school, Catherina worked for several years as a product manager at Google, where she led the development of algorithmic fairness tools to detect and reduce bias across Google’s artificial intelligence systems.
