Bill Williams represents clients in all facets of commercial litigation, particularly intellectual property cases including patent and trade secret claims. Prior to joining Keker, Van Nest & Peters, Mr. Williams was an associate at a small firm in New York. Mr. Williams served as a law clerk to the Honorable Charles R. Wilson of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit and the Honorable Myron H. Thompson of the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Alabama.
Mr. Williams earned his J.D. from Columbia Law School and graduated from the University of Notre Dame with a B.A. in Political Science. He worked as a legal intern for the Neighborhood Defender Service of Harlem, was a defensive back on the Notre Dame football team, and was a corps member for Teach for America teaching high school English in Oakland, California.
