Neha Mehta represents clients in all facets of commercial litigation. Prior to joining Keker, Van Nest & Peters, Ms. Mehta was a litigation associate in the Palo Alto office of a large firm where she litigated complex cases in both state and federal court, including patent cases in the Eastern District of Texas and before the International Trade Commission. She has also represented clients against government investigations. Her pro bono experience has included criminal defense, a successful clemency petition, and a U-Visa immigration matter.
Ms. Mehta formerly served as a law clerk for the National Center for Youth Law. Prior to attending law school, she was as a Teach for America corps member and served as a 6th grade math and science teacher for an Oakland middle school where she was selected to be part of an “Excellence in Teaching” pilot learning group.
Ms. Mehta earned her J.D. from Harvard Law School and graduated from the University of California Berkeley with a B.A. in political science and rhetoric.
