Alex Wheeler represents clients in all facets of commercial litigation, with a background in civil litigation and legal research. Prior to joining Keker, Van Nest & Peters, Alex served as a law clerk to Judge Vince Chhabria of the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California and to Judge Veronica Rossman of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Tenth Circuit. 

Alex earned her law degree from UC Davis School of Law, where she served as a Senior Online Editor of the UC Davis Law Review. She also worked as a research assistant to Professor Thomas Joo, co-authoring an article on the Paycheck Protection Program that was published in the UC Davis Law Review Online.

Prior to becoming a lawyer, Alex worked in film production as an assistant production office coordinator on the feature film Lean on Pete and as a production assistant on NBC Television’s Grimm.

Alex holds a bachelor’s degree in Diplomacy & World Affairs from Occidental College, where she graduated magna cum laude and captained the women’s Ultimate Frisbee team.
