Jon Streeter, known throughout the legal community as an accomplished litigator, leader, and champion of public service and civil rights, was confirmed to the First District Court of Appeal today.

In addition to handling high-stakes litigation at Keker & Van Nest, where he served as partner since 1997, Streeter also co-chaired the firm’s pro bono practice, and personally handled groundbreaking litigation over racial profiling by the California Highway Patrol and diversity in public schools. In 2011 he was elected to President of the State Bar of California, having previously served as president of the San Francisco Bar Association in 2004, and leader of the Association of Business Trial Lawyers of Northern California from 2006 to 2007.
