Keker & Van Nest LLP is pleased to announce that the American College of Trial Lawyers, widely considered the country’s premier professional trial organization, has inducted partner Elliot Peters. Fellowship, extended by invitation only, is restricted to the top one percent of the trial bar. With the admission of Peters and previously inducted Keker & Van Nest partners John Keker, Robert Van Nest and Susan Harriman, 12.5 percent of the firm’s partnership are Fellows.

“The invitation to join the American College of Trial Lawyers is an incredible honor,” Peters said. “Fellowship grants me the opportunity to collaborate with some of the nation’s top trial attorneys, several of which I’m proud to say work just down the hall.”

Over the course of his remarkable career, Peters has litigated some of the nation's most high profile commercial and white collar cases. Numerous organizations have recognized his achievements. In 2010, The Recorder named him the Attorney of the Year, U.S. News ranked him as one of the Best Lawyers in America, and the Daily Journal included him in its list of Top 100 Attorneys in California. Peters earned his J.D. from the New York University School of Law, and his B.A. from Yale University.
