Bob Van Nest has been selected among California’s Leading Commercial Litigators by the Daily Journal. Van Nest was featured for various significant patent and other intellectual property cases that he’s successfully led, including most recently leading a team in a two-week jury trial defending Google against patent infringement claims for billions of dollars. In March, Van Nest and his team will be defending Dexcom over seven patents related to its continuous glucose monitoring technology against Abbott. Van Nest and his team also secured a favorable result on behalf of Qualcomm in what had been one of the largest consumer class actions ever certified. Van Nest also discusses his upcoming trial where he’ll defend Real Intent, which makes powerful software used in computer chips and integrated circuits, against copyright infringement claims brought by its largest competitor, Synopsis.
