Lauren Kane represents clients in all facets of commercial litigation. Prior to joining Keker, Van Nest & Peters, Ms. Kane served as a law clerk to Judge Mary M. Schroeder of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit and Judge Alan C. Kay of the U.S. District Court for the District of Hawai’i. She was formerly an associate at an Am Law Top 5 law firm, where she was part of a copyright trial team. Her pro bono work included representing undocumented minors seeking special immigrant juvenile status and a prisoner rights case.

Ms. Kane earned her J.D. from the University of California, Berkeley, School of Law with a certificate in business law. While in law school, she worked as a judicial extern to Judge Ann Schindler of the Washington State Court of Appeals and as a student contributor to the American Bar Association Antitrust Section. She earned her B.A. in economics from the University of Southern California.
